The Coast Guard Historical Ships' Company were dressed for their part in the OpSail 2012 and Boston Harborfest celebrations, commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812 Boat Medium 45654 for guests so they could board Reserve members played a crucial role in the high visibility visit of the Coast Guard Cutter agle to Naval Station Mayport, Florida, from April 27 to May 3. Reservists served as Security fϐicers responsible for the safety of over 700 guests including school children, teachers, Scouts, and cadets who visited CG Cutter Reservists also manned security check points to ensure guests without ofϐicial identiϐication were thoroughly screened to ensure the safety of all attendees. They also controlled vehicle parking and access to secure pier areas. In addition, reservists secured personal ϐlotation devices and coordinated transportation aboard the USCGC ingϔisher and a Response *TTVF t agleǯs ommanding fϐicer agle for the very special and unique "Ride-In" event as the cutter approached Mayport, Fla. A Letter of Appreciation (LOA) from Mr. Robert Manning directed to the CG Cutter aptǤ Eric Jones, congratulated the CG Cutter agle crew as well as all active duty and reserve personnel responsible for the efϐiciency and professionalism they exhibited in managing access to the CG Cutter particularly commended in this LOA for their efforts included tǤ rian oyleǡ tǤ eckǡ ͵ arvin ageǡ and aurice oddǤ By Lt.
